COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY

Shia Travel Group, LLC (STG) understands that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we travel, and we are implementing new protocols, with the health and well-being of our clients and staff at the forefront. STG is closely monitoring the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local government guidelines to ensure the safety of all our clients and staff. For our COVID-19 Cancellation Policy, click here.

Safety Measures Before Tour

Testing Requirement

A negative COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test must be done no more than 72 hours before departure.

Vaccination*

All clients must provide proof of COVID vaccination if the vaccine becomes available 30 days before departure.

STG Safety Protocol

We will provide clients with specific COVID-19 protocols in advance of the tour, and any additional details specific to the selected destination.

Safety Measures During Tour

Mandatory Face Masks

Face masks are required in public, at all times, except when eating or swimming.

Social Distancing

We will work closely with all service providers to avoid crowded locations and adjust itinerary if necessary.

Testing Requirement

Any client who develops COVID-19 symptoms will be required to test again.

Health Screening

Clients will undergo daily temperature screenings before boarding the bus.

Quarantine Pod

If a client is diagnosed with COVID-19 or required to quarantine, we will provide separate accommodation and meals for them. Additionally, we will arrange or assist with access to local healthcare providers and arrange their return flight.

Additional Safety Regulations For Staff

Handwashing

All staff is required to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer frequently.

Gloves

All staff is required to wear and change gloves often.

Daily Health Screenings

All staff will undergo daily temperature screenings before client interaction.

Operational Hygiene Measures

Intensify Cleaning of all Common Areas and Bus.

We only partner with hotels that follow strict cleaning guidelines. Additionally, your bus will be deep-cleaned and disinfected daily. Hand sanitizers will be places in all common areas and on the bus.

Safety Training for Staff

All staff have been trained on and will follow our safety protocol.

Limited Tour Capacity

Our group tours will remain small and intimate. Our maximum capacity for each trip will allow social distancing during tours and spaced seating on the bus.

We will only partner with businesses that are compliant with the local safety regulations.
